MDS Pharma Services names Werner Weber, M.D., as director of operations, early clinical research, Hamburg
(May 7, 2001; Montreal, Canada) MDS Pharma Services, one of the leading contract research organizations in the world, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Werner Weber to its staff as managing director, early clinical research, Hamburg, Germany. In this role, Dr. Weber will be responsible for all early clinical research operations in the Hamburg facility.
Dr. Weber possesses more than 15 years of clinical research experience. Prior to joining MDS Pharma Services, Dr. Weber served as director of Phases I-III clinical research for Biopharm, Berlin, and as senior study director for Parexel, Berlin. His background also includes several years with L.A.B. GmbH & Company, with whom he achieved the position of vice director, human pharmacology.

Dr. Weber received his Approbation (medical degree) after completing studies in human medicine at the University of Ulm. His educational background also includes studies of chemistry and physics at the University of Munich.
