MDS Pharma Services announces the addition of three business development directors

(July 17, 2001; Montreal, Quebec) — MDS Pharma Services is pleased to announce the addition of three business development directors to its international staff. Victoria Wray has been named business development director for bioanalytical. She will be based in South Carolina. Gary Caulfield has been named business development director for early clinical research, European operations, and will be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Frank Marchesani has been named business development director for biosafety and fermentation technologies. He will focus primarily on the eastern United States and will be based in Maryland.

Wray's background includes more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industries. In addition, Wray has also served with scientific companies in other industries most notably as senior technical territory manager for Dupont, as product manager for Fisher Scientific, and as technical sales representative for General Electric.

Her educational background includes a BS in chemistry from High Point University. She is a member of various professional associations, including the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the Drug Information Association.

Caulfield's background includes more than ten years experience in the health care and pharmaceutical industries. Before joining MDS Pharma Services, Caulfield served as a healthcare consultant with Pfizer's operations in Sandwich, Kent. He has also served with the North & West Belfast Locality Consortium as project manager and with the Ayrshire and Arran Health Board as commissioning support manager. His educational background includes an MSc in healthcare management from the University of Stirling and a BSc in physiotherapy from the University of Ulster.

Marchesani's background includes more than ten years of experience in the biopharmaceutical testing and manufacturing industries, primarily focused on business development, account management and clients service. His educational background includes a BS in biology from York College.
