MDS Pharma Services names John Friesner vice president, business development, discovery and preclinical
(September 12, 2001; Montreal, Quebec) — MDS Pharma Services is pleased to announce the addition of John Friesner as vice president, business development, for its discovery and preclinical business unit. Friesner will be based in Bothell, Washington, with global responsibilities for discovery and preclinical business development directors in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Friesner’s background includes extensive business development management experience in the FDA regulated cardiopulmonary medical device industry, as well as additional experience in marketing management and market research. He also possesses several years of experience in key account management, strategic and consultative selling, and developing and implementing sales training programs. Before joining MDS Pharma Services, Friesner led business development efforts for a division of American Home Products.
